Winter Lights, presented by Redwood Credit Union, is excited to bring this fun, festive opportunity to Downtown Santa Rosa! The Winter Lights synthetic ice rink requires no water or power to provide sustainable wintery fun! Check out our FAQ for full details.

What to Expect

Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in, sign your waiver and get your skates. One of our volunteers will check you in and get you ready to hop on the ice. You will be required to sign a waiver in order to skate. You’ll be able to skate for about 45 minutes.

Spectators are welcome to attend with skaters but must enter the area at the same time.

Your skate rental is included in your ticket price. Skates are available in child’s size 9 through men’s 14. You may also bring your own ice skates, if they have been recently sharpened.  Use of toe picks is strictly prohibited due to the damage it causes to synthetic ice.

Skaters are required to wear socks when using our skates. An extra pair can be helpful.

Buy-Out Details

A maximum of 50 skaters can attend a buy-out session and you can feel free to bring decorations and snacks - even a cake for a birthday party - but you MUST clean everything up and remove everything you bring with you once your session is over. Back-to-back sessions may be purchased (if available) if you wish to have more time on the rink. Waivers will be required of each person who intends to skate. If you have questions about buy-outs, please contact Stacy Luther at [email protected]!
